Doctor Notes is operated by Alston Innovations Inc.

Doctor Notes is a mobile application that allows users to record medical visits, generate AI-powered summaries, and view categorized visit recaps (including Visit Summary, Next Steps, and AI Insights). Users may securely share these records with others at their discretion.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must assist in account setup and actively supervise use of the Service.

You must provide accurate and current information when registering. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, contact us immediately at hello@getdoctornotes.com.

You retain ownership of the recordings, transcripts, and other content you upload or create using Doctor Notes (“User Content”). By using the Service, you give Doctor Notes permission to host, store, process, and display your User Content only as needed to operate the Service, provide transcripts and summaries, and maintain and improve the Service.

Doctor Notes may generate AI-based transcripts, summaries, and insights based on your User Content. You may use and share these outputs for personal use, including sharing with family members, caregivers, and healthcare providers. You may not sell, publish, or commercially exploit the AI-generated outputs without Doctor Notes’ prior written permission.

Doctor Notes is not a HIPAA-compliant platform. We use third-party service providers to operate and improve the Service (for example, transcription, analytics, error monitoring, and cloud storage). Your recordings, transcripts, and related files may be stored and processed using secure third-party cloud infrastructure, storage providers and other vendors we use to provide the Service.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details.

You agree not to: Use the Service for unlawful or harmful purposes. Users may not use the app to violate privacy laws. Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service. Share misleading health information generated by the Service as medical advice.

You agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding the recording of conversations. In many jurisdictions, all participants must consent to be recorded. It is your responsibility to notify and obtain consent from all participants prior to using the recording feature of the Service.

The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All summaries and AI-generated content are for informational purposes only. Always consult your licensed healthcare provider before making any medical decisions. Doctor Notes is not for emergencies, call 911 or local emergency services.

Doctor Notes may offer free and paid membership options, including Doctor Notes+ and other plans described at the time of purchase. Membership features, pricing, and billing frequency will be shown to you before you complete checkout.

Payments for paid memberships are processed outside of the App Store using our payment provider (for example, Stripe). If you purchase a paid membership, you authorize us (and our payment provider) to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout. New paid memberships come with a 60-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, email hello@getdoctornotes.com within 60 days of your first payment. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are refunded through Apple or Google.

The Service depends on third-party infrastructure. Interruptions, delays, or inaccuracies may occur. Transcripts, summaries, and insights are generated by AI systems and may contain errors. You understand and accept these limitations when using the app.

The Service is provided over mobile networks and the internet, which may be subject to outages or delays. Doctor Notes is not responsible for issues caused by connectivity problems, device incompatibility, or mobile network failures.

The Service is operated from the United States and is intended for use within the United States and U.S. territories. You may not use or access the Service if you are located in a country subject to U.S. government embargoes or sanctions, or are identified on any U.S. government restricted party list. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are not located in any such country and are not on any such list.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use creates risk to Doctor Notes, other users, or third parties.

You may request to delete your account at any time. Once your deletion request is confirmed, we will permanently delete your account and the associated recordings, transcripts, and stored files from our systems and storage providers, subject to any limited backups required for security, legal, or operational purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Doctor Notes is not liable for: Inaccuracies in generated summaries or data. Unauthorized access or account breaches. Loss of data, interruptions, or app errors. Health outcomes based on app-generated content. Use of Doctor Notes is at your own risk.

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Oregon, USA. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.

We may update the app or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms
